¹³ From there they moved and camped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amorites; for ^(A)the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

¹⁴ Therefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of the Lord:

¹⁸ And they ^(A)went along through the wilderness and ^(B)bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab, came to the east side of the land of Moab, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.
