²⁴ “Aaron will be ^(A)gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel because ^(B)you rebelled against My ^[a]command at the waters of Meribah.

¹⁴ for in the wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, ^(A)you rebelled against My ^[a]command ^[b]to treat Me as holy before their eyes at the water.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

^37 (A)Yahweh was angry with me also on your account, saying, ‘^(B)Not even you shall enter there.

²⁶ But ^(A)Yahweh was angry with me on your account and would not listen to me; and Yahweh said to me, ‘^[a]Enough! Speak to Me no more of this matter. ²⁷ Go up to the top of ^(B)Pisgah and lift up your eyes to the west and north and south and east, and see it with your eyes, ^(C)for you shall not cross over this Jordan.
