and write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers’ households. You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of (A)the testimony, where I meet with you. It will come about that the rod of (B)the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you.”

On the staff of Levi write Aaron’s name,(A) for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe. Place them in the tent of meeting(B) in front of the ark of the covenant law,(C) where I meet with you.(D) The staff belonging to the man I choose(E) will sprout,(F) and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling(G) against you by the Israelites.”
