Numbers 15:27-29
The Message
27-28 “But if it’s just one person who sins by mistake, not realizing what he’s doing, he is to bring a yearling she-goat as an Absolution-Offering. The priest then is to atone for the person who accidentally sinned, to make atonement before God so that it won’t be held against him.
29 “The same standard holds for everyone who sins by mistake; the native-born Israelites and the foreigners go by the same rules.

New International Version
27 “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,(A) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.(B) 28 The priest is to make atonement(C) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.(D) 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.(E)
