35 I, Yahweh, have spoken. I swear that I will do this to the entire evil community that has conspired against Me.(A) They will come to an end in the wilderness, and there they will die.”(B)
36 So the men Moses sent to scout out the land, and who returned and incited the entire community to complain about him by spreading a negative report about the land— 37 those men who spread the negative report about the land were struck down by the Lord.

35 I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will surely do these things(A) to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.(B)”
36 So the men Moses had sent(C) to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble(D) against him by spreading a bad report(E) about it— 37 these men who were responsible for spreading the bad report(F) about the land were struck down and died of a plague(G) before the Lord.
