3 Is the Lord leading us into Canaan, just to have us killed and our women and children captured? We'd be better off in Egypt.” 4 Then they said to one another, “Let's choose our own leader and go back.”

3 Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword?(A) Our wives and children(B) will be taken as plunder.(C) Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?(D)” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.(E)”
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown(F) in front of the whole Israelite assembly(G) gathered there.
