29 your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and of all your number, numbered from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me, 30 not one shall come into the land where I swore that I would make you dwell, except Caleb the son of Jephun′neh and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, who you said would become a prey, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised.

29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall(A)—every one of you twenty years old or more(B) who was counted in the census(C) and who has grumbled against me. 30 Not one of you will enter the land(D) I swore with uplifted hand(E) to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh(F) and Joshua son of Nun.(G) 31 As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected.(H)
