23 So I tell you, none of them will ever see the land that I promised to give to their ancestors. None of those men who did not trust me will see that place. 24 But my servant Caleb has thought differently, and he has obeyed me completely. So I will bring him into the land that he explored. It will belong to his descendants. 25 The Amalekites and the Canaanites live in the valleys now. So tomorrow you must turn back. You must travel through the desert towards the Red Sea.’

No one who has treated me with contempt(B) will ever see it.(C) 24 But because my servant Caleb(D) has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly,(E) I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.(F) 25 Since the Amalekites(G) and the Canaanites(H) are living in the valleys, turn(I) back tomorrow and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea.[a](J)
