9 The Lord’s anger burned against them,(A) and he left.
10 As the cloud moved away from the tent, Miriam’s skin suddenly became diseased, resembling snow.[a] When Aaron turned toward her, he saw that she was diseased 11 and said to Moses, “My lord, please don’t hold against us this sin we have so foolishly committed. 12 Please don’t let her be like a dead baby[b] whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”

New International Version
9 The anger of the Lord burned against them,(A) and he left them.(B)
10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent,(C) Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow.(D) Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease,(E) 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed.(F) 12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.”
