14 But the Lord said to Moses, ‘If her father had but spat in her face, would she not bear her shame for seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp for seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.’ 15 So Miriam was shut out of the camp for seven days; and the people did not set out on the march until Miriam had been brought in again. 16 After that the people set out from Hazeroth, and camped in the wilderness of Paran.

14 The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face,(A) would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp(B) for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp(C) for seven days,(D) and the people did not move on till she was brought back.

16 After that, the people left Hazeroth(E) and encamped in the Desert of Paran.(F)
