34 That’s why the place was named Kibroth-hattaavah,[a] because they buried the people there who had an insatiable appetite for meat.[b] 35 Later, the people left Kibroth-hattaavah for Hazeroth and camped there.

34 Therefore the place was named Kibroth Hattaavah,[a](A) because there they buried the people who had craved other food.
35 From Kibroth Hattaavah the people traveled to Hazeroth(B) and stayed there.
