Numbers 11:12-14
1599 Geneva Bible
12 Have I [a]conceived all this people? or have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom (as a nurse beareth the sucking child) unto the [b]land, for the which thou swarest unto their fathers?
13 Where should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh that we may eat.
14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, for it is too heavy for me.

12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I give them birth? Why do you tell me to carry them in my arms, as a nurse carries an infant,(A) to the land you promised on oath(B) to their ancestors?(C) 13 Where can I get meat for all these people?(D) They keep wailing to me, ‘Give us meat to eat!’ 14 I cannot carry all these people by myself; the burden is too heavy for me.(E)
