53 The Levites’ tents shall be clustered around the Tabernacle as a wall between the people of Israel and God’s wrath—to protect them from his fierce anger against their sins.”
54 So all these instructions of the Lord to Moses were put into effect.

53 The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle(A) of the covenant law so that my wrath will not fall(B) on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the covenant law.(C)”
54 The Israelites did all this just as the Lord commanded Moses.
