⁴ One man from each tribe,^(A) each of them the head of his family,^(B) is to help you.^(C)

¹⁶ These were the men appointed from the community, the leaders^(A) of their ancestral tribes.^(B) They were the heads of the clans of Israel.^(C)

² Then the leaders of Israel,^(A) the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted,^(B) made offerings.
