19 Yet thou for thy great mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: (A)the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day to lead them the way, neither the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way whereby they should go.
20 Thou gavest also thy good Spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy Manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.
21 Thou didst also feed them forty years in the wilderness: they lacked nothing: (B)their clothes waxed not old, and their feet [a]swelled not.

19 “Because of your great compassion you did not abandon(A) them in the wilderness. By day the pillar of cloud(B) did not fail to guide them on their path, nor the pillar of fire by night to shine on the way they were to take. 20 You gave your good Spirit(C) to instruct(D) them. You did not withhold your manna(E) from their mouths, and you gave them water(F) for their thirst. 21 For forty years(G) you sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing,(H) their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.(I)
