18 And there was prepared daily an ox, and six chosen sheep, and birds were prepared for me, and [a]within ten days wine for all [b]in abundance. Yet for all this I required not the bread of the governor: for the bondage was grievous unto this people.
19 Remember me, O my God, in goodness, according to all that I have done for this people.

18 Each day one ox, six choice sheep and some poultry(A) were prepared for me, and every ten days an abundant supply of wine of all kinds. In spite of all this, I never demanded the food allotted to the governor, because the demands were heavy on these people.
19 Remember(B) me with favor, my God, for all I have done for these people.
