Nehemiah 3:5-7

5 Next to them the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles did not put their [a]shoulders to (A)the work of their Lord.
6 Moreover Jehoiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired (B)the Old Gate; they laid its beams and hung its doors, with its bolts and bars. 7 And next to them Melatiah the Gibeonite, Jadon the Meronothite, the (C)men of Gibeon and Mizpah, repaired the (D)residence[b] of the governor of the region [c]beyond the River.

New International Version
5 The next section was repaired by the men of Tekoa,(A) but their nobles would not put their shoulders to the work under their supervisors.[a]
6 The Jeshanah[b] Gate(B) was repaired by Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah. They laid its beams and put its doors with their bolts and bars in place. 7 Next to them, repairs were made by men from Gibeon(C) and Mizpah—Melatiah of Gibeon and Jadon of Meronoth—places under the authority of the governor of Trans-Euphrates.
