The Lord is (A)good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And (B)He knows those who take refuge in Him.
But with an (C)overflowing flood
He will make a complete end of [a]its site,
And will pursue His enemies into (D)darkness.

Whatever you (E)devise against the Lord,
He will make a (F)complete end of it.
Distress will not rise up twice.
