⁷ Then the ^(A)remnant of Jacob
Will be among many peoples
Like ^(B)dew from Yahweh,
Like ^(C)showers on vegetation
Which do not hope for man
Or wait for the sons of men.
⁸ Then the remnant of Jacob
Will be among the nations,
Among many peoples
^(D)Like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
Like a young lion among flocks of sheep,
Which, if it passes through,
^(E)Tramples down and ^(F)tears,
And there is ^(G)none to deliver.
⁹ Your hand will be ^(H)raised up against your adversaries,
And all your enemies will be cut off.

¹³ For I will ^(A)bend Judah ^[a]as My bow;
I will fill the bow with Ephraim.
And I will rouse up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O ^[b](B)Greece;
And I will make you like a ^(C)mighty man’s sword.
¹⁴ Then Yahweh will appear ^(D)over them,
And His ^(E)arrow will go forth like lightning;
And Lord Yahweh will blow the ^(F)trumpet
And will go in the ^(G)storm winds of the south.
^15 (H)Yahweh of hosts will defend them.
And they will ^(I)consume and trample on the ^(J)stones of a sling;
And they will drink and ^(K)roar as with wine;
And they will be filled like a sacrificial bowl,
Drenched like the ^(L)corners of the altar.
¹⁶ And Yahweh their God will ^(M)save them in that day
As the flock of His people;
For they are as the stones of a ^(N)crown,
^[c]Sparkling in His land.
