15 Now at the Feast, the governor was accustomed to release for the crowd one prisoner whom they were wanting. 16 And at that time they were holding a notorious prisoner being called Jesus[a] Barabbas. 17 So they[b] having been gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release for you? Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus, the One being called Christ?”
