69 Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.”

70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.”

71 Then when he went out onto the porch, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This man was also with Jesus of Nazareth.”

Peter said, “Man, I am not!”

Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had told him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” 62 And Peter went outside and wept bitterly.

Then the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper and brought Peter in.

17 Then the servant girl, being the doorkeeper, said to Peter, “Are you not also one of this Man’s disciples?”

He said, “I am not.”

18 Now the servants and officers stood there and warmed themselves, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. Peter also stood with them and warmed himself.

25 Meanwhile Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. So they said to him, “Are you not also one of His disciples?”

He denied it and said, “I am not!”

26 One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of the man whose ear Peter cut off, said, “Did I not see you in the garden with Him?” 27 Peter then denied it again, and immediately a rooster crowed.
