²⁸ For this is My blood that establishes the covenant;^[a] it is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.^(A)

²⁴ He said to them, “This is My blood that establishes the covenant;^[a](A) it is shed^(B) for many.^(C)

²⁵ God presented Him as a propitiation^[a](A) through faith in His blood,^(B) to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God^(C) passed over the sins previously committed.^(D)

⁹ Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood,^(A) we will be saved through Him from wrath.^(B)

⁷ We have redemption in Him^(A) through His blood, the forgiveness^(B) of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

¹⁴ We have redemption,^[a] the forgiveness of sins, in Him.

¹² Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate,^(A) so that He might sanctify^[a] the people by His own blood.

⁷ But if we walk in the light^(A) as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus^(B) His Son cleanses us from all sin.
