Restoring a Brother

¹⁵ “If your brother sins against you,^[a] go tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.^(A)

Carry One Another’s Burdens

6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle^(A) spirit,^[a](B) watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted.^(C)

¹⁴ But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and deny the truth.^(A)
