²⁷ For ^(A)the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father ^(B)with His angels, ^(C)and then He will reward each according to his works.

³⁰ Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man ^(A)is revealed.

⁷ so that you come short in no gift, eagerly ^(A)waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,

^5 (A)Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to ^(B)light the hidden things of darkness and ^(C)reveal the ^[a]counsels of the hearts. ^(D)Then each one’s praise will come from God.

¹³ so that He may establish ^(A)your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^9 (A)These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and ^(B)from the glory of His power, ¹⁰ when He comes, in that Day, ^(C)to be ^(D)glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who ^[a]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

⁷ that ^(A)the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though ^(B)it is tested by fire, ^(C)may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

The Children of God

²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him, that ^[a]when He appears, we may have ^(A)confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

⁷ Behold, He is coming with ^(A)clouds, and every eye will see Him, even ^(B)they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
