23 And when Jesus came into the leader’s house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise 24 he said to them, All of you, go away, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping. And they laughed him to scorn. 25 But as soon as the people were put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,(A) 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead(B) but asleep.”(C) But they laughed at him. 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.(D)
