15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then she got up and began to serve Him. 16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits(A) with a word and healed all who were sick,(B) 17 so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

He Himself took our weaknesses
and carried our diseases.(C)[a]

16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.(A) 17 This was to fulfill(B) what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

“He took up our infirmities
    and bore our diseases.”[a](C)
