30 And if your right hand causes you to [a]sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

31 “Furthermore it has been said, (B)‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I say to you that (C)whoever divorces his wife for any reason except [b]sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.

30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble,(A) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[a](B) 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.(C)
