2 And said, [a]Repent: for the [b]kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he of whom it is spoken by the Prophet Isaiah, saying, (A)The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord: [c]make his paths straight.
4 (B)And this John had his garment of camel’s hair, and a girdle of a skin about his loins, his meat was also [d]locusts and wild honey.

2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven(A) has come near.” 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a](B)
4 John’s(C) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.(D) His food was locusts(E) and wild honey.
