Matthew 27:33-35

33 They came to a place named Golgotha, which means “Place of a Skull.”[a] 34 (A) There they gave Jesus some wine mixed with a drug to ease the pain. But when Jesus tasted what it was, he refused to drink it.
35 (B) The soldiers nailed Jesus to a cross and gambled to see who would get his clothes.

New International Version
33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).(A) 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall;(B) but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.(C)
