Matthew 27:18-20

[a] 18 For he knew that they had handed Him over out of envy.
19 While Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him a message, saying, “Don’t have anything to do with that righteous Man, for today I’ve suffered many things in a dream because of Him.”
20 Now the ruling kohanim and elders persuaded the crowds that they should ask for Bar-Abba and destroy Yeshua.

New International Version
18 For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.
19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat,(A) his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent(B) man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream(C) because of him.”
20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.(D)
