¹¹ But he said to them, ^(A)“Not everyone can receive this saying, but only ^(B)those to ^(C)whom it is given.

^27 (A)To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are ^(B)the riches of the glory of ^(C)this mystery, which is Christ in you, ^(D)the hope of glory.

Wisdom from the Spirit

⁶ Yet among ^(A)the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not ^(B)a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, ^(C)who are doomed to pass away. ⁷ But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, ^(D)which God decreed before the ages for our glory. ⁸ None of ^(E)the rulers of this age understood this, for ^(F)if they had, they would not have crucified ^(G)the Lord of glory. ⁹ But, as it is written,

¹⁰ these things ^(K)God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even ^(L)the depths of God.

²⁰ But you have been ^(A)anointed by ^(B)the Holy One, and ^(C)you all have knowledge.^[a]

²⁷ But ^(A)the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and ^(B)you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and ^(C)is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
