Matthew 14:2-4

2 and he said to his servants, (A)“This is John the Baptist. He has been raised from the dead; that is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” 3 For (B)Herod had seized John and bound him and (C)put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife,[a] 4 because John had been saying to him, (D)“It is not lawful for you to have her.”

2 and he said to his attendants, “This is John the Baptist;(A) he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”
3 Now Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison(B) because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,(C) 4 for John had been saying to him: “It is not lawful for you to have her.”(D)

3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
