⁵⁷ And they were taking ^(A)offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “^(B)A prophet is not without honor except in his ^[a]hometown and in his own household.”

⁴⁴ For Jesus Himself bore witness that ^(A)a prophet has no honor in his own country.
