⁵⁴ He went to his hometown^(A) and began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?^(B)

³⁰ But since the Pharisees and experts in the law^(A) had not been baptized by him, they rejected the plan of God for themselves.^(B))

¹⁸ I’ll get up, go to my father, and say to him, “Father, I have sinned^(A) against heaven^(B) and in your sight.

²¹ The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I’m no longer worthy to be called your son.’
