⁵ The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy^[a] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.^(A)

⁵⁵ Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat.

⁴⁴ The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen,^(A) and a cloth around his face.^(B)

Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
