26 इ सब बातन क कहि चुकइ क पाछे ईसू आपन चेलन स बोला, 2 “तू पचे जानत ह कि दुइ दिना पाछे पसह क त्यौहार बाटइ। अउर मनई क पूत दुस्मनन क हाथन स क्रूसे प चढ़ाइ जाइ बरे पकड़वाइ जाइवाला अहइ।”
3 तब मुख्ययाजकन अउर बुजुर्ग यहूदी नेतन कैफ़ा नाउँ क महायाजक क घरे क आँगन मँ ऍकट्ठा भएन। 4 अउर उ पचे कउनो चाल स ईसू क धरइ अउर मार डावइ क छल करेन। 5 फिन भी उ सबइ कहत रहेन, “हमका इ फसह क त्यौहार क दिनन मँ नाहीं करइ चाही। नाहीं तउ होइ सकत ह मनई दंगा फसाद कइ बइठइँ।”

The Plot Against Jesus(A)
26 When Jesus had finished saying all these things,(B) he said to his disciples, 2 “As you know, the Passover(C) is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled(D) in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,(E) 4 and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.(F) 5 “But not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be a riot(G) among the people.”

26 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
