Jesu fi ara han Tomasi
24 (A)Ṣùgbọ́n Tomasi, ọ̀kan nínú àwọn méjìlá, tí a ń pè ní Didimu, kò wà pẹ̀lú wọn nígbà tí Jesu dé. 25 Nítorí náà àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn ìyókù wí fún un pé, “Àwa ti rí Olúwa!”
Ṣùgbọ́n ó wí fún un pé, “Bí kò ṣe pé mo bá rí àpá ìṣó ni ọwọ́ rẹ̀ kí èmi sì fi ìka mi sí àpá ìṣó náà, kí èmi sì fi ọwọ́ mi sí ìhà rẹ̀, èmi kì yóò gbàgbọ́!”
26 Lẹ́yìn ọjọ́ mẹ́jọ àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn sì tún wà nínú ilé, àti Tomasi pẹ̀lú wọn: nígbà tí a sì ti ti ìlẹ̀kùn, Jesu dé, ó sì dúró láàrín, ó wí pé, “Àlàáfíà fún yín.” 27 (B)Nígbà náà ni ó wí fún Tomasi pé, “Mú ìka rẹ wá níhìn-ín yìí, kí o sì wo ọwọ́ mi; sì mú ọwọ́ rẹ wá níhìn-ín, kí o sì fi sí ìhà mi: kí ìwọ má ṣe jẹ́ aláìgbàgbọ́ mọ́, ṣùgbọ́n jẹ́ onígbàgbọ́.”
28 Tomasi dáhùn, ó sì wí fún un pé, “Olúwa mi àti Ọlọ́run mi!”

Jesus Appears to Thomas
24 Now Thomas(A) (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side,(B) I will not believe.”(C)
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace(D) be with you!”(E) 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”(F)
28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
