Ginpakaon ni Jesus ang 5,000 ka Tawo(A)
13 Sang pagkabati sadto ni Jesus, nagsakay siya sa sakayan kag nagtabok pakadto sa kamingawan. Pagkabati sang mga tawo halin sa nagkalain-lain nga mga banwa nga si Jesus nakahalin na, naglakat sila pakadto sa iya kaladtuan. 14 Sang pagpanaog ni Jesus sa sakayan, nakita niya ang madamo gid nga mga tawo. Naluoy gid siya sa ila, kag ginpang-ayo niya ang mga masakiton nga ila gindala didto.
15 Sang lapit na magsirom, nagpalapit sa iya ang iya mga sumulunod. Nagsiling sila, “Hapon na gid, kag ari kita diri sa kamingawan. Palakta na ang mga tawo sa mga baryo agod makabakal sila sang ila pagkaon.” 16 Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Indi kinahanglan nga palakton sila. Kamo mismo ang maghatag sang pagkaon sa ila.” 17 Nagsabat sila, “Lima gid lang ka bilog ang aton tinapay kag duha ka isda.” 18 Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Abi dal-a ninyo diri sa akon.” 19 Ginsilingan niya ang mga tawo nga magpungko sa hilamon. Dayon ginkuha niya ang lima ka tinapay kag duha ka isda, kag nagtangla siya sa langit kag nagpasalamat sa Dios. Pagkatapos ginpamihak-pihak niya ang tinapay kag ginhatag sa iya mga sumulunod kag ginpanagtag nila ini sa mga tawo. 20 Nakakaon sila tanan kag nagkalabusog. Pagkatapos kaon, gintipon nila ang mga nabilin, kag dose pa ka alat ang napuno. 21 Mga 5,000 ka lalaki ang nakakaon, wala labot ang mga babayi kag mga bata.

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand(A)(B)
13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them(C) and healed their sick.(D)
15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 “We have here only five loaves(E) of bread and two fish,” they answered.
18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.(F) Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

10 Pagbalik sang mga apostoles ni Jesus, ginsugid nila sa iya kon ano ang ila mga nahimo. Dayon gindala sila ni Jesus sa banwa sang Betsaida. Wala siya sing may ginpaupod nga iban. 11 Pero pagkahibalo sang mga tawo nga nakahalin na sila ni Jesus, nagsunod sila. Pag-abot nila didto, ginbaton sila ni Jesus kag ginhambalan parte sa paghari sang Dios. Kag ginpang-ayo man niya ang mga masakiton.
12 Sang lapit na lang magsalop ang adlaw, nagpalapit sa iya ang iya dose ka apostoles kag nagsiling, “Palakta na ang mga tawo sa mga baryo kag sa mga sityo sa palibot agod makapangita sila sang ila pagkaon kag tululugan, kay ari kita diri sa kamingawan.” 13 Pero nagsiling si Jesus, “Kamo mismo ang maghatag sang pagkaon sa ila.” Nagsabat sila, “Lima gid lang ka bilog ang aton tinapay kag duha ka isda. Indi ini makaigo, luwas kon magbakal kita sang pagkaon para sa ila tanan.” 14 (Ang kadamuon sang mga lalaki lang mga 5,000.) Gani nagsiling si Jesus sa iya mga sumulunod, “Papungkua ninyo ang mga tawo sing grupo-grupo, tag-50 kada grupo.” 15 Gintuman nila ang sugo ni Jesus kag ginpapungko nila ang tanan nga tawo. 16 Dayon ginkuha ni Jesus ang lima ka tinapay kag duha ka isda, kag nagtangla siya sa langit kag nagpasalamat sa Dios. Pagkatapos ginpamihak-pihak niya ang tinapay kag ginhatag sa iya mga sumulunod agod ipanagtag sa mga tawo. 17 Nakakaon sila tanan kag nagkalabusog. Pagkatapos kaon, gintipon nila ang mga nabilin, kag dose pa ka alat ang napuno.

10 When the apostles(C) returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida,(D) 11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God,(E) and healed those who needed healing.
12 Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, “Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here.”
13 He replied, “You give them something to eat.”
They answered, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.” 14 (About five thousand men were there.)
But he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.” 15 The disciples did so, and everyone sat down. 16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them.(F) Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. 17 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

6 Pagkatapos sadto, nagtabok liwat si Jesus sa Dagat sang Galilea nga ginatawag man nga Dagat sang Tiberias. 2 Madamo nga mga tawo ang nagsulunod sa iya, tungod kay nakita nila ang iya mga ginpanghimo nga mga milagro sa iya pagpang-ayo sang mga masakiton. 3 Nagtaklad si Jesus kag ang iya mga sumulunod sa bukid kag didto nagpungko. 4 (Malapit na lang sadto ang piesta sang mga Judio nga ginatawag Piesta sang Paglabay sang Anghel.) 5 Pagtan-aw ni Jesus, nakita niya nga madamo nga mga tawo ang nagapalapit sa iya. Gani nagsiling siya kay Felipe, “Sa diin bala kita makabakal sang pagkaon[a] para makakaon ini nga mga tawo?” 6 (Amo ini ang iya pamangkot tungod kay gusto niya nga tilawan si Felipe. Pero sa pagkamatuod, may plano na siya nga daan kon ano ang iya himuon.) 7 Nagsiling si Felipe sa iya, “Sa kadamuon sang mga tawo nga ini, bisan gamay lang ang aton ihatag, ang walo ka bulan nga suweldo sang isa ka tawo kulang pa nga ibakal sang ila pagkaon.” 8 Pero nagsiling ang utod ni Pedro nga si Andres nga isa man sa mga sumulunod ni Jesus, 9 “May bata diri nga lalaki nga may lima ka tinapay[b] kag duha ka isda. Pero ano ang pulos sini sa amo nga kadamuon sang mga tawo?” 10 Nagsiling si Jesus, “Abi, papungkua ninyo ang mga tawo.” Kag ginpapungko nila sila, kay hilamunon man ato nga lugar. Ang mga lalaki lang mga 5,000 nga daan. 11 Pagkatapos ginkuha ni Jesus ang tinapay kag nagpasalamat sa Dios, kag ginpanagtag niya ini sa mga tawo nga nagapungko didto. Amo man ang iya ginhimo sa isda, kag nabusog sila tanan. 12 Pagkatapos nila kaon, nagsiling si Jesus sa iya mga sumulunod, “Tipuna ninyo ang mga nabilin agod wala gid sing may mausik.” 13 Gani gintipon nila ang tanan nga nabilin. Kag halin sa lima ka tinapay nga ginpakaon sa mga tawo, nakapuno pa sila sang dose ka alat.
14 Pagkakita sang mga tawo sadto nga milagro nga ginhimo ni Jesus, nagsiling sila, “Amo na gid ini matuod ang Propeta nga aton ginahulat nga magaabot diri sa kalibutan!”

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand(A)
6 Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs(B) he had performed by healing the sick. 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside(C) and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival(D) was near.
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip,(E) “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,(F) spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”(G)
10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks,(H) and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
14 After the people saw the sign(I) Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”(J)
