63 Inu Mulungu, ndinu Mulungu wanga,
moona mtima ine ndimakufunafunani;
moyo wanga uli ndi ludzu lofuna Inu,
thupi langa likulakalaka inu,
mʼdziko lowuma ndi lotopetsa
kumene kulibe madzi.
2 Inu ndinakuonani ku malo anu opatulika
ndipo ndinapenya mphamvu zanu ndi ulemerero wanu.
3 Chifukwa chikondi chanu
ndi choposa moyo, milomo yanga idzakulemekezani.
4 Ndidzakutamandani masiku onse a moyo wanga,
ndipo mʼdzina lanu ndidzakweza manja anga.
5 Mudzakhutitsa moyo wanga ndi zonona.
Ine ndidzakutamandani ndi mawu anthetemya.
6 Pa bedi panga ndimakumbukira inu;
ndimaganiza za Inu nthawi yonse ya usiku.
7 Chifukwa ndinu thandizo langa,
ine ndimayimba mu mthunzi wa mapiko anu.
8 Moyo wanga umakangamira Inu;
dzanja lanu lamanja limandigwiriziza.
9 Iwo amene akufunafuna moyo wanga adzawonongedwa;
adzatsikira kunsi kozama kwa dziko lapansi.
10 Iwo adzaperekedwa ku lupanga
ndi kukhala chakudya cha ankhandwe.
11 Koma mfumu idzakondwera mwa Mulungu;
onse amene amalumbira mʼdzina la Mulungu adzalemekeza Mulunguyo,
koma pakamwa pa anthu onama padzatsekedwa.

A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.
1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,(A)
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.(B)
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary(C)
and beheld your power and your glory.(D)
3 Because your love is better than life,(E)
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,(F)
and in your name I will lift up my hands.(G)
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;(H)
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.(I)
7 Because you are my help,(J)
I sing in the shadow of your wings.(K)
8 I cling to you;(L)
your right hand upholds me.(M)
