Nyimbo yoyimba pokwera ku Yerusalemu.

130 Ndikulirira kwa Inu Yehova ndili mʼdzenje lozama;
2     Ambuye imvani mawu anga.
Makutu anu akhale tcheru kumva
    kupempha chifundo kwanga.

3 Inu Yehova, mukanamawerengera machimo,
    Inu Yehova, akanayima chilili ndani wopanda mlandu?
4 Koma kwa Inu kuli chikhululukiro;
    nʼchifukwa chake mumaopedwa.

5 Ndimayembekezera Yehova, moyo wanga umayembekezera,
    ndipo ndimakhulupirira mawu ake.
6 Moyo wanga umayembekezera Ambuye,
    kupambana momwe alonda amayembekezera mmawa,
    inde, kupambana momwe alonda amayembekezera mmawa,

7 Yembekeza Yehova, iwe Israeli,
    pakuti Yehova ali ndi chikondi chosasinthika
    ndipo alinso ndi chipulumutso chochuluka.

A song of ascents.

1 Out of the depths(A) I cry to you,(B) Lord;
2     Lord, hear my voice.(C)
Let your ears be attentive(D)
    to my cry for mercy.(E)

3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
    Lord, who could stand?(F)
4 But with you there is forgiveness,(G)
    so that we can, with reverence, serve you.(H)

5 I wait for the Lord,(I) my whole being waits,(J)
    and in his word(K) I put my hope.
6 I wait for the Lord
    more than watchmen(L) wait for the morning,
    more than watchmen wait for the morning.(M)

7 Israel, put your hope(N) in the Lord,
    for with the Lord is unfailing love(O)
    and with him is full redemption.(P)
