The Righteous Will Live by Faith

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel,^[a](A) because it is God’s power for salvation^(B) to everyone who believes, first to the Jew,^(C) and also to the Greek.^(D)

¹² and that is why I suffer^(A) these things. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me^[a](B) until that day.^(C)

¹⁶ May the Lord grant mercy^(A) to the household of Onesiphorus,^(B) because he often refreshed me^(C) and was not ashamed of my chains.^(D)
