40 For whoever is not against us is on our side. 41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward. 42 Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.

Causing to Stumble
42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble,(C) it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.(D)
