40 He who is not against us is with us. 41 I tell you the truth. If anyone helps you by giving you a drink of water because you belong to the Christ, then he will truly get his reward.
42 “If one of these little children believes in me, and someone causes that child to sin, then it will be very bad for him. It would be better for him to have a large stone tied around his neck and be drowned in the sea.

Causing to Stumble
42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble,(C) it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.(D)
