36 [a]For what shall it profit a man, though he should win the whole world, if he lose his soul?
37 Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?
38 (A)For whosoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words among this adulterous and sinful generation, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed also, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy Angels.

36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man(A) will be ashamed of them(B) when he comes(C) in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
