19 But Jesus[a] refused, and said to him, ‘Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy he has shown you.’ 20 And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed.

21 When Jesus had crossed again in the boat[b] to the other side, a great crowd gathered round him; and he was by the lake.

19 Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them(A) how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” 20 So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis[a](B) how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.
