and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude hearing all that He was doing came to Him. And He said to His disciples that a small-boat should be standing-ready-for Him because of the crowd— in order that they might not be pressing[a] Him. 10 For He cured many, so that they were falling-upon Him in order that all who were having scourges[b] might touch Him.

When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(A) Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,(B) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.(C)
