8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude hearing all that He was doing came to Him. 9 And He said to His disciples that a small-boat should be standing-ready-for Him because of the crowd— in order that they might not be pressing[a] Him. 10 For He cured many, so that they were falling-upon Him in order that all who were having scourges[b] might touch Him.

8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(A) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,(B) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.(C)
