41 Which also when he was in Galilee, (A)followed him, and ministered unto him, and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
42 (B)And now when the night was come (because it was the day of the preparation that is before the Sabbath)
43 (C)Joseph of Arimathea, an [a]honorable counselor, which also looked for the kingdom of God, came, and went in [b]boldly unto Pilate, and asked the body of Jesus.

41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.(A)

42 It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath).(C) So as evening approached, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council,(D) who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God,(E) went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.
