41 In Galilee(A) these women followed him and took care of him. Many other women had come up with him to Jerusalem.(B)

42 When(C) it was already evening, because it was the day of preparation (that is, the day before the Sabbath), 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Sanhedrin who was himself looking forward(D) to the kingdom of God,(E) came and boldly went to Pilate(F) and asked for Jesus’s body.(G)

41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.(A)

42 It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath).(C) So as evening approached, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council,(D) who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God,(E) went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.
