Jesus Is Led Before The High Priest And The Sanhedrin. Peter Follows
53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest. And all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes come together. 54 And Peter followed Him at a distance, as far as inside in the courtyard of the high priest. And he was sitting-together with the officers[a], and warming himself toward the light [of the fire].
Jesus Says, I Am The Son of God. They Condemn Him To Death
55 Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking testimony against Jesus, so that they might put Him to death. And they were not finding it.

Jesus Before the Sanhedrin(A)(B)
53 They took Jesus to the high priest, and all the chief priests, the elders and the teachers of the law came together. 54 Peter followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest.(C) There he sat with the guards and warmed himself at the fire.(D)
55 The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin(E) were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find any.
