20 He answered and said to them, It is one of the twelve, and the same dips with me in the platter. 21 The Son of man goes as it is written of him. But woe is to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed. It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.

22 And as they ate, Jesus took bread, blessed, and broke, and gave to them and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

20 “It is one of the Twelve,” he replied, “one who dips bread into the bowl with me.(A) 21 The Son of Man(B) will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

22 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it(C) and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.”
